Good News!

First we have a picture of Weston at the Ikea measuring board. Here he has many a time been told that he is just shy of the 37 inch mark. Therefore, he has not been able to to play at their "Awesome" playground. This Saturday however, a milestone has been achieved. He finally met the height requirement. He gave a gleeful "Yes!" followed by a nice fist clench. So Jake and I were able to actually find something at Ikea.

Next you will see a picture of our bedroom, which we painted on Sat. as well. The room still has things missing like pictures, headboard, lighting, etc. But I am so excited to finally have a bedspread, paint on the walls, and thanks to Ikea...curtains! I love it. Any advice to pull it all together? It looks a little mismatched for now. I have ideas in mind, but would love any of my friends thoughts as well. Help me make our bedroom super cute!

Lastly, I have finally lost 5lbs! I have been trying, unsuccessfully, since Spencer was born. I still have 15lbs to go, but hopefully now that my body has decided to help in the matter...I will be back to "normal" soon.

Bye Bye Blonde long hair...

welcome back the buzz cut. So Weston's hair is super cute long, (at least I think so) but it was getting long enough, I didn't know how to cut it anymore. So I cut it short this weekend with the buzzers. Look at all the hair on the floor. He has my hair. Well...actually Jake has super thick hair too so that is debatable. I am just sad to see the great color leave. He needs those cute highlights.

Fun Weekend

We had a great weekend. Jake and I were supposed to have a date friday night...but the sitter fell through at the last minute. So we ended up taking out kiddo's. We went to dinner and to BUILD A BEAR! I have always wanted to take them, but was worried about how much we would end up spending. It was fun! The next day we went to the Science Center in Phoenix. I love our little family!

Crazy Hair

So I am always asked if I spike up Spencer's hair....or if I use "product." He gets a lot of jokes about sticking his finger in a light socket. I love it!

We are loving the new trampoline. I even venture out there sometimes to show the kids some "new moves."

I have been so overwhelmed with the new baby and all...I haven't posted enough. I just saw some cute pictures that show that we do smile sometimes around here...even Spencer! I never did see one of Jake though...
