On
Saturday we went to the U of A farms for our
ward picnic. We had a great time. They had snow cones, cupcakes,
candy, crafts for the kids and games. We even got to play a little bit of v
olleyball which I was pretty rusty at. The highlight of the picnic was when we all participated in the
bunny sac race. Good times!
Jake raced with with our neighbor Mark and his son Drew. Then I raced against his wife and my friend Tracy. It was pretty funny. It was great to get out as a
family and enjoy the nice weather together. Sadly to say the
nice weather probably will be short lived. I feel the
hot, hot weather right around the corner. I am not looking forward to it. Ugh
! (Yes this is similar to Tracy's blog...I copied it, but we did do the same thing...so I saved a step.)

The dreaded video. I told Jake to just take a picture, no video...and this is what he did. I think my arm looks silly, but at least I am not afraid to still have a little fun. Even if I look like a fool. Plus, we did tie!
