So the other night Jake could hear water running in our Master bathroom in the wall. We couldn't get it to stop so we ended up turning all the water off to the house. We realized that their was a leak and it had soaked the drywall and the carpet and pad on the other side...near our fireplace. Anyway, Russell (who is our landlord) came over the next day. Ripped open the wall and pulled back the carpet. He fixed the leak and said if we could get everything cleared out in the next day...he would FINALLY replace our floors. Actually I am teasing a bit. He had just been saying he would do them for a bit and this made it happen. So I started clearing off the entertainment center to move it.
The just started moving things into the kitchen. Pretty soon Jake came home and helped me move all the furniture. It felt like we were moving again...(I HATE MOVING). I was motivated though...cause I hated our old carpet.

We stayed and Grandma and Grandpa Watkins (thank you) for a couple of days and came back to our beautiful new floors. We were super motivated to move everything back and not live in chaos. Luckily Monday was a holiday and my neighbors took the kids on and off throughout the day. We moved back and even painted the front living room.

It really doesn't look much different. But I like it sooooo much more. Last time it was to pastel and had a blue hint. This time it is actually a warm gray like I wanted. It looks better in person too.

Here is what it looked like last Feb. I went to find a before pic and realized I painted last Feb. I must be highly motivated this time of year or something. I was looking through pics of last Feb and I made a dress for Aubrey...did crafts, repainted and had a few BIG parties. Then I got pregnant and haven't been the same since. It is only fitting that this Feb. I am regaining my old self back and very excited to be busy with Spring Cleaning...projects and maybe even a party. We shall see!!!

And the after. The house seems so much bigger and more updated. Happy girl here! Happy for the unexpected water leak :)

And I just had to post a picture of this sweet little girl who has definitely ROCKED my world and I wouldn't trade her for anything! It is soooo worth it being a mom. Love her CHUBS!
