Hot Date!

Jake came home Friday from work and told me to get a sitter lined up because he was taking me out this weekend. This doesn't usually happen...so of course, I complied. Jake usually loves to tell me everything, but I made him promise to just keep it a secret...even if it was nothing special, I love surprises. So Sat. around 4:30 the sitter arrives (she is great if anyone wants her number) and we were off. Halfway to our destination he confesses I had already guessed where we were going "The Melting Pot." It was so fun. Here is a picture of dessert, which was wonderful. I actually think the cheese course was my favorite though. It was fun to just be the two of us at a fancy place. When the waiter asked what the occasion was for our little outing, Jake just said "She deserves a break away from the kids and doesn't get it enough." I love you honey. Thanks for doing the unexpected and for no aparant reason. I love that about you.

It was so fun to be away for a couple of hours and we even left Spencer. We ended the night in typical Jacob fashion. We went to Target. It is funny but he loves to go and look at the clearance aisles. We found fun gifts for the kiddo's back home and I bought some weights to help in my exercise. (I have been using canned food for too long.) Yin Yang Chocolate! Cool huh! This is the kids with their eyes closed waiting for their surprise.
