Tagged: Picture Tag

So I just went to my friend Memory's blog...who moved away from Maricopa to the beautiful state of California. Anyway, she tagged me with this photo thingy...so here it is. This was somewhat embarrassing,...since I do clean, but just on Fridays. It would have been spotless on Friday. Also, my camera takes horrible pictures indoors, so sorry.

Here are the rules. I tag Sarah Jones, Tracy Badger and Anne Boice
PICTURE BLOG TAG. The rules are you have to take ten pictures of the following things. And you have to do it right away. No straightening, cleaning or wiping your child's nose.

1. The inside of your fridge.

2. Your Closet

3. A self Portrait. 4. Your favorite room in the house. I chose my kitchen. I just like the layout and enjoy cooking in this kitchen.
5. Your kitchen sink. No cleaning guys. 6. Your Laundry Room ( I need hidden storage above my washer and dryer.)
7. Your toilet

8. Your kids (whatever they are doing right now, Weston was dancing with a singing truck. ) Aubrey was at school.

9. Your dream vacation. This is Jake in the Bahamas. This was our dream vacation and it would be so awesome to take our whole family someday. 10. Your favorite pair of shoes. I love these shoes and they remind me of when we were on Wheel of Fortune.

Ok...so this is worth posting.

This Saturday thanks to our wonderful Sister and Brother in law...we were able to take a long awaited trip to the Mesa temple. Mike and Mari babysat our kids and we really appreciate it. Here are some cute pics (off of Mike's i-phone...good huh!) of the kids.
Playing at the splash pad.

Of course: Guitar Hero
and Mcdonalds Happy Meals.

Me at 28 weeks...

The truth is I had Jake grab a picture of me today...after church, and I just can't bear to post it. I keep looking at it, thinking...this can't be me, not at 28 weeks. No, I will just post a picture another day, maybe at 32 weeks. Then it won't seem so bad that I look 9 months pregnant. Oh, I am sorry if anyone cares, but those who don't have to see me, can just be grateful. I have never kept track before with pictures...maybe I was this big before...ignorance is bliss.

And we have Success!

A happier girl today. Notice she is first in line...this was planned by Aubrey well in advance.
So not only did she go to school without any tears...but she absolutely loved it! Aubrey said she was a "little bit excited, but mostly nervous" yesterday. Today she said she is the most "excitable of all the world." We will miss her, but I am so happy to see our little girl growing up and learning new things. She comes home and teaches Weston everthing she learned. Thanks Legacy!

My little school girl!

It is pathetic that I am already posting pics of Aubrey and she isn't even home from her first day of school yet. I guess I am just so excited that she went and didn't cry or anything. She was definitely nervous...so I didn't know what to expect today. Aubrey was mainly grouchy when I dropped her off, because we had to stand outside waiting for the "flag ceremony" and it was 112 degrees outside. It took about 20 minutes in the heat, so I was grouchy too. Here are some pics of her grouchy, hot face. I can't wait to for 2:40pm to pick her up and hear how it went down. They grow up too fast.
She is so quiet in this video (we call her our low talker) so just turn up your volume.

A fun week to say the least.

So Jake had some vacation days that he never took that needed used. So, since we had no vacation this summer, he just took the time off this last week. It all started actually last Friday, which was my last post of Weston and his 3 year old Birthday celebration.

Next was Monday. We had another party for Weston with the Watkins' family. It was at "Amazing Jake's" at was so much fun. We had a great crowd and at all you can eat buffet, then watched our kids on the Merry go round and "Hopper." They had so much fun with their cousins and just playing to their hearts content.

I can't remember what we did on Tuesday, but we spent a lot of time playing wii Mario Kart and just enjoying having Jake around. OH yeah! and we went to a school party for Aubrey. It was way too hot, but their were bounce houses and slides and snowcones...so we survived.

On Wed. we decided to head out to the Arizona Science Museum. I have heard it was fun, so we spent the day in Phoenix. My kids loved it. Weston keeps talking about how the cow burped (their was a Grossology section) which talked about a lot of bodily functions. Anyway, I highly recommend the trip. We got a membership so call me if you want to go some time. That same day we ate at one of my all time favorites Souper Salad! Yeah! The kids were great and loved choosing their favorite foods. That same day we went and visited Norm (grandpa) and Mari (aunt) at their work. OH and I almost forgot. On Wed. we got our new 42" plasma TV! We are so excited. So

Thurs. we watched movies and fiddled around with our new TV all day. Friday....was Aubrey's "meet the teacher night." So we went and toured her new school and saw her classroom. She is a little nervous, but mostly excited she says. That night we ate at Panda Express. (you can tell I am pregnant. The highlight of my week was all the junk food I could eat...and no cleanup.....we never eat out anymore, but this was our vacation.) We also had a camping night in our own living room. We watched Enchanted and let the kids have a night of sleeping in a tent. It was so uncomfortable. I don't know what we were thinking.

So, next was Saturday. We spent the day at the mall and just buying stuff for Aubrey and school. Then we went and visited Jake's parents again, and went to Gecko Grill with some of our good friends the Hayes. We ended the gorging of food with Neilsons' Custard. And that concludes our Staycation! We had a lot of fun this week. We ate a lot, played a lot and even kept our home in relative order. Now we are anxious to dive into this world of having a child in school....and hope it Sorry for the long post. By the way I don't like slide shows...but I had a lot of pictures. If you scroll over the picture with your mouse...I have captions explaining the pics.

So here we are at "Panda Express." And yes Tina...it isn't just my face that is getting fat! Here is the new addition! Yipee! The Watkins way of Camping!

Happy Birthday Boy!

Weston David we love you!

You have always been so cute! Here you are at a week old. You were a big baby. 9lbs 4 ounces. In the beginning we had no idea you had such a fun personality (you were colicky.) But around 6 months we started to see the Weston we know and adore today.

One week.
One month.

Here you are at 6 months.
One year old.
Two years old. And now 3 years old.

Mud Pies!

Not a whole lot going on...but we still have fun at our house. The kids really loved playing in the mud. I had to drag them in to go to bed that night. I can't wait to get the lawn done...before the winter time. (Which is the time I like to be outside here.)

It has been another month.

Yahoo! This was the first month that actually went by quickly. I wasn't sick, I was bored (which means I wasn't sick and actually wanted to do something) and I am not horribly large yet. Well you can be the judge. I don't look cute in this picture...but I didn't know it until later... and I want to keep posting every 4 weeks on the dot. So here I am at 24 weeks.
On another note: We went in for our second ultrasound on the baby. This was to see if he still had a hole in his heart or a VSD...and the great news is he doesn't! Baby looks great. Thanks for all of your prayers and support. We feel really blessed. With the hole gone, as well as my blood work back with good results...we are also no longer at a high risk for down sydrome. Great news!
