So I guess you could say I am a COPY CAT. Let me explain... Do you ever have anyone that for some reason you just look up too! Well, I have this friend and seriously we don't even hang out much or anything. However, for some reason everything she does seems so exciting and wonderful that I find myself wanting to copy her. She is a wonderful mother and just seems to have it all together. Anyway...if she says she likes something I find myself thinking I would like that too. I know it is a little weird, but I can't be the only one right? So last weekend I saw that Kelly had gone with her family to the Temple in Mesa and gone to the visitors center, then ended the evening with Tai food. So this weekend after we spend the morning riding bikes and playing on the monkey bars....Jake says : "Any ideas on what to do today?" I said very directly..."How bout going to the visitors center and then eating Tai food!" And that is the end of that. I copied my friend and had the best weekend :)
We loved watching the Joseph Smith movie at the Temple and then went to the distribution center and got Book of Mormons for the kids and some more stuff to help with our scripture reading. It really was a great day!
P.S. On a bright note. I know a lot of my dear friends were worried about me when I wrote my "downer" post a while back. I appreciate all of your love, calls and support. I really am doing quite a bit better lately. I know the Lord loves me and our family and I can feel that. This week we tried extra hard to just "do what your supposed to do." Does that make sense? Anyway, we see the blessings in our kids and in our attitudes already. Sunday was such a great day. I sang at church (which terrifies me to the core,) but I felt my testimony grow. Later that night when Weston prayed I felt the Spirit so strong. He really is such a wonderful special boy who is close to our Heavenly Father. I know if I can just do my part as his mother...he has great potential. I am grateful for our children and this wonderful family that we are blessed to have! The Church is true friends and I am happy to be a part of it!
Love you guys...the few who continue to read this blog and even the ones who don't! :)

You are so funny Teri! I think that kids have such strong spirits and I know that my kids are daily reminders to me that Heavenly father loves me. I sometimes feel like they were given to me just for that reason. I hope things just get better and better for you guys!
